I love these bars- they are easy for on the go snacks or even a quick meal replacement. They taste like Kraft caramels to me even though that is not at all what the description says. I really enjoy them. My only downside is that they are a little high in carbs for me (pre-diabetic) so I need to moderate when I eat them.

UMP meal replacement bar is hands down the best meal replacement protein bar I’ve ever had. The nutritional profile is perfect. The macros are all dialed in with plenty of fiber, good fats (even some MCT oil), which is very good for your health. The protein quality is a perfect combination of fast and slow digesting sources. I wanted to try the UMP protein bar because I got bored with protein shakes and wanted something different. This is an excellent choice for an after workout supplement! I bought a box for my daughter who is getting back in the gym after a long hiatus, and she says the UMP protein bar takes away her sweet cravings and she's seeing weightloss results on her scale after adding UMP Protein bar to her fitness regimine. Love the taste and texture. Love that it's not overly sweet like the bars in the corner health food store. But what I'm experiencing is mild digestive upset. Ingredients don't state sugar alcohols are there. Says it's sweetened with monkfruit and honey. And it has an ingredient "natural flavor". What is that? I would have given this product a 5 except for the digestive upset.

I've been a fan of Beverly products for many years. Of course UMP protein is at the top of the list. I was excited to hear about the the UMP protein bars, but it took a while for them to be in stock for me to purchase. When there was a sale for them, and they were available, I got 2 boxes. I must say I'm not impressed. They taste faintly like the old Bit-O-Honey candy. I'll keep them and use them for emergencies, but sad to say I won't purchase these again.

I freeze and take along one UMP bar on long bike trips. Sometimes I will leave one in the car after a hard workout at the gym, that way the bar will immediately and healthily reduce my food cravings. It isn't messy and does not taste chalky.

I’ve been wanting to try these so when I received a sample in my order…woot! Brutally honest. At first I was not overly impressed. I’m not a huge fan of how protein bars are just THICK & strangely chewy. I put it aside & thought I’ll try it again later. Next day, I take a small bit…mmmkay, not to shabby. Taste is good, no lingering weirdness & for their first time to court with a protein bar this is WAY better than most…but it’s chewy & maybe it’s me but if there were some nuts thrown in here & there I think it would take it to the next level.

1st time ordering & trying..!
As they were out previous.
Anyhow, I recently / prior to ordering this time around had a crave / hanker for "Bit-O-Honey" candy chews, s favorite as a kid (57 year old kid not ) and these bars actually satisfied that crave , they are [ in my opinion ] very reminiscent, or white close.
I'm still going to see if I can find / source some of that old school nostalgia, as I don't see it on shelves much, if at all.
Loved the UMP bars..
perfect on the go snak, or pick me up pre, or during a workout.

These bars are delicious and cost effective. They do not melt in the vehicle or stick to the package. They do not crumble while eating, therefore I can consume them on the way to. church on Sunday. Theses bars help keep me from eating junk and are very easy to pack and carry.

I like the taste of the bar and it doesn't bother my stomach like some other bars do but they are a little oily. I think they need to have a little texture in them like a few nuts or something to make it more hearty, but overall they are good.

I have not been able to smell or taste since contracting Covid in the spring of 2020. I can distinguish between sweet/ sour and spicy/ bland but nothing has flavor. My review is based on "texture" and "fullness" .
These bars are spectacular!! The nougat texture reminds me of a Payday or Babe Ruth candy bar. Its not to chewy but neither does it dissolve quickly. Its enjoyable to eat.
This UMP Bar does not set heavy on the stomach like a lot of the other brands of high protein bars do. Sometimes I munch on one while heading to the gym.
Having it with a cup of coffee as mentioned elsewhere, is a wonderful idea. No, I cant taste the coffee either but eating it with something warm brings different sensations to the mouth that it does with something cold. Its also fun to eat with an apple!
Funny what we take for granted untill it gone.
Definitely a 5 star for me. I will be getting more!!

Was hesitant to buy a whole box to find out if I'd like them. Have bought so many bars in the past that had a nasty texture, but trust Beverly products so gave this a try. THEY ARE GREAT! I've cut them in half and used for a snack to hold me over or give me a boost in between going from lifting to cardio. Also like the fact I don't have to mix anything, nor "pop" a tasteless supplement. I will keep one in my purse from now on.

Outstanding! I've been waiting for years for Beverly to produce a protein bar with the quality and taste of your protein powders. You have certainly accomplished that goal! As the owner/operator of a fitness center for seventeen years, I've tried (or at least read the ingredients label of) just about every protein bar made.
