The secret with UMP is to take enough of it to increase your typical protein intake by at least 50%. For example, if you typically eat 150 g of protein daily, a 50% increase (75 g) would bring you to 225 g daily.
The aforementioned “50% rule” typically works out to 4 or more scoops of UMP daily for men, and 2-3 scoops daily for women. As a general rule of thumb, take 1 scoop of UMP for every 50 lbs of body weight.
